URBAN COOLING
The documentary focuses on the special materials developed to address the growing problem of rising temperatures in cities. It documents and introduces the products developed through laboratory research. The film follows a clear structure: introducing the phenomenon, presenting the problem, explaining the product, and comparing the differences between environments with and without the product.

MEER -Mirrors for Earth's Energy Rebalancing
Documentary - Cooling technologies that reduce both local and global temperatures
Extreme heat is becoming a serious global issue. This documentary explores how rising temperatures affect people's daily lives and what we can do to address this problem. The project focuses on creating a documentary about MEER and the solutions it has developed to tackle extreme heat. The film aims to show how simple yet innovative ideas can help people stay cool in a warming world.

I want to create a high-tech visual style that reflects the scientific nature of this research project. Through clear visuals and a serious tone, I aim to highlight the importance of the issue and raise public awareness of its impact on people and the environment.
My initial focus was more on the technology, documenting the research process in the laboratory and the scientists' studies and experiments. However, I later realized that the main focus of this topic is the issue of rising temperatures in cities today. The client wanted to communicate how this product could help cities address rising temperatures in the simplest possible way. Therefore, I changed my design direction and moved away from my original idea.

Temperature contrast
I started thinking about how to combine technology with the visual feeling I wanted to create. This led me to the idea of using thermal imaging equipment, which can clearly show changes in temperature while also creating a strong sense of technology. I thought this approach could help communicate the relationship between rising temperatures and the urban environment, while giving the project a more scientific and research-based visual direction.
