The world itself is open, but the environments and rules we inherit give us the illusion of a single path. We follow it unconsciously, believing it is the only way forward. Like walking through a park, we stay on the paved road, forgetting that it was constructed by others. Even when we realize this, we restrain ourselves, shaped by the rules we were taught to obey.
